DOT BY BASO: COMPACT PRECISION LIGHTING WITH ARCHITECTURAL CLARITY
DOT by BASO offers a fresh take on modern luminaires, blending form with technical sophistication for environments that demand both style and function. Its compact size conceals a powerful light engine designed to optimize spatial illumination with clarity and grace.
Defined Geometry for Visual Focus
The defining characteristic of DOT is its compact cylindrical shape, stripped of excess to emphasize precision and restraint. This minimalist profile suits contemporary interiors that value subtle yet purposeful lighting accents.
Seamless Integration with BASO and CURVE
DOT-R comes in three apertures perfectly matching the widths of BASO and CURVE linear luminaires. This design alignment makes DOT an effortless choice for projects already incorporating those products, allowing designers to create cohesive, elegant lighting schemes that flow naturally across spaces.
Optics Engineered for Comfort
Equipped with high-performance lenses, DOT’s illumination achieves well-controlled beam spreads from spot to wide flood, eliminating harsh hotspots and producing smooth, comfortable light. The fixture's 30° tiltable range and 360° rotation enable customized interior lighting and accent strategies, supporting both task and ambient applications while minimizing eye strain.
Flexible, Configurable Solutions
DOT offers over 20 configurations ranging from 1.5" to 4.0" apertures, with trim and trimless options, as well as specialty wall washer plates. Optional finishes and a range of color temperatures allow the fixture to blend seamlessly into various interior typologies. Additionally, BABA and BABAA driver options are available to meet specific project requirements.
Advanced Controls and Quick Ship Availability
DOT is compatible with nLight® control systems, providing sophisticated, networked lighting control solutions for energy savings and enhanced occupant comfort. Furthermore, DOT-R benefits from BASO’s Quick Ship program, enabling fast turnaround times to keep your project on schedule.
Energy-Efficient, Quality Illumination
Powered by bright, efficient LEDs with a color rendering index (CRI) greater than 90, DOT maintains excellent color accuracy and vibrancy. Four dimming options plus customizable dimming capabilities ensure versatile mood creation, reinforcing the fixture’s multifunctional value.
